Here's whats been happening since we tied the knot:
Sunday-recovered and unloaded all our stuff at the apt.
Monday-Davids car died and we had to have it towed
Tuesday-Our ceiling leaked water after heavy rain Mon night
Wednesday-David got tasked to go to Afghanistan
Today- praying nothing bad will happen.......
So we will not be going anywhere on a honeymoon, the car is going to be very expensive so we have to spend our wedding money on that :( and even though we dont have to pay to have our roof fixed, we need to be here to watch it so it doesnt leak anymore. (Its supposed to rain all weekend)
We are trying to have fun here though! Playing lots of golf ( I got a new driver!) and drinking heavily after Wednesday's news!!!

so sorry to hear the news, but i'm glad you're making the most of your time together. in 30 years, when you're planning your daughter's wedding, you'll be able to look back with fond memories at your first week as husband and wife, and remind her of what is most important about the day of the wedding. prayers abound.

oh no i am so sorry to hear your bout of bad luck!! when is he going to be deployed? At least you two are able to go through all this roug stuff together as HUSBAND and WIFE :)best of luck

boooooooooooo! you need what i found at the nex the other day--"mad housewife" wine. lots of it. ;) not sure if it's good or not (at the pricepoint of $5.99, my guess is probably not), but the label makes it worth it! how long will he have to be in the big A?
